Original Vintage Planters Mr Peanut Parade Costume Store Display Mascot Suit Sign. Up for sale is a vintage original 1960’s Platers Mr. Peanut parade costume, store mascot, display, sign, wearable advertising piece. These mascots were used at ball parks, football games, and other events to advertise Planters Peanuts. People were hired to wear them around stores, sidewalks, parades, public functions etc. The piece measures 48″ tall overall with the hat x 17″x17″, it is 36″ tall without hat. The condition of the mascot is very good used, with normal time/use wear, no cracks, holes, or dents, shows some scratches and wear. One of the two side clips (visible when hat is off) is broken – see pictures. This is definitely a great collectible piece either for display or wear.
