Vintage 1930s Wise Potato Chips, folding metal store display rack with signs

We’re told it’s from the late 1930s, possibly used up through and after WW2. The frame is Zinc plated steel rod, welded together. The shelving pieces are aluminum, with a silk-screened front on each shelf. The shelves each have 4 aluminum tabs that can be bent around the frame to keep them in place. Fortunately, these tabs were never bent, so it comes apart without any problems. We’re pretty sure the 2 small signs on top are reproductions, but they do seem to match what Wise was using back in the 1930s. It’s hard to find metal shelving units from the 1930s, as so many of them were given to the wartime scrap drives. We do our best to accurately describe the items we offer.
