Vintage 1980s-90s Giant ICEE Slushie LIGHT Store ADVERTISING Display POLAR BEAR. Cup itself measures about 22 inches tall without the straw inserted in the top, over 28 inches with straw, about 7-1/2 inches across the base, about 13 inches across the lid. This would have been a movie theater or retail store point of sale display piece. It was bought in Texas a few months ago and looks to have seen little use. It lights up and has the original white cord with an inline on/off switch. Its made of a medium thickness molded plastic material. Marked on a paper label on the base is MIRRO PRODUCTS USA. The light inside has been tested and works well. The display has bright and bold colors and features the ICEE Polar Bear on the cup that reads TOO COOL! Has a removable top that has a small straw hole. Red straw is in 3 joined sections and is somewhat adjustable in length with a little effort, not sure if straw is original or not but fits perfectly and looks the part!! Straw is 28 inches in overall length. Could be made into an AWESOME mood light or kids nightlight – check it out!! Condition is overall excellent, some very minor pin size marks in the red lid and a tiny 1/4 inch tear at the straw hole, nothing else to mention and pretty clean too. Its a great piece of movie-going ephemera. These are pretty hard to find without serious cracks, breaks or other damage/repairs. If you’ve been looking for an unusual rec room or bar room fun statement piece, then this is it, you won’t find many available in this nice of condition – they are pretty scarce!!
