Rare Vintage Salesman Sample Cannonball Safe Trade Show Mosler York Diebold Cool

Up for sale is this cool looking miniature cannonball safe in very good condition. Measures just under 6 inches tall. The upper safe part looks to be made of brass and front dial is brass. Door opens and closes like a real safe. Only one of the locking bolts actually moves out to lock the safe. Bottom safe is plated and just need to turn it a bit to open it. Upper Handel on top door has a hole so in guessing it had another Handel sticking out of it to pull it open. I can see a screw and possible welding or brazing but I can’t really tell as it’s painted inside. Paint has scuffs and scratches but is still pretty good. Plating is excellent condition but could use a good cleaning. Door on inside is marked Mcoll upside down. Im guessing a makers mark. I searched the internet for a very long time trying to find information on this safe but I can’t find anything like it. I can find the cannonball safes that are half a safe inside a box but that’s about it. I have had this for many years and it’s time for me to let go of my collection as it’s not getting buried with me!! We bought this on our honeymoon somewhere in eastern Ohio at a small antique shop.
