The glass has a few imperfections but these have been present since the jar was manufactured. Otherwise, it is perfect although it could use a thorough cleaning. The slanted lid pulls down easily and snaps closed via a spring. There is a little tarnishing on the top of the band in the front. The jar is approximately 5 1/2″ wide, 6 1/2″ tall and 16 long.
