Vintage Set of 4 Christmas Carolers High End Department Store Display. Faces, hands and arms are made out of paper. The man and two boys have curled paper for hair. The lady is wearing a white hair wig. None have any maker’s mark. I will describe each caroler and their condition. Two Boys are wearing green velvet outfits, coat and pants, with faux white fur accents, gold cord belts tied around waste. They have on red velvet and white fur hats with sugared bells and satin bow decoration on side. They both are wearing black wool shoes (could be velvet) with gold cord circles design buckle. Each is standing on a white faux show, heavy cardboard round stand. Both were holding Red song books but they have come off so they need to be glued back on. Both outfits are clean. Faces, hands and legs are clean with maybe a tiny mark here or there. Their hands still have original glue where song books were glued on. Woman is elaborately dressed wearing a red velvet coat with white faux fur accents and a blue satin skirt that peeks out of coat below. Under the blue satin skirt is a white slip made out of rayon with white eyelet accent at bottom. She is also wearing a red velvet bonnet with white faux fur highlights, green ostrich feather with red berries decoration on the side, red satin ribbon tie in front, with red berries on the ends and a long gold satin bow going down the back. The woman is holding a wrapped present and is carrying a silver box wrapped with a white satin ribbon. Her body is over a cone shaped cardboard stand. Her face is clean with just a tiny tiny bit of light staining around the mouth (can hardly see it). All clothes, and hands are clean. Man is wearing a long red velvet coat with white fur highlights and a holly leaves boutonniere and berry (red berry has lost its red). Under the coat he’s wearing a beige satin dickey in front and green velvet knickers with gold cording decoration around bottom. He’s wear black wool shoes (could be black velvet). The shoes are missing their gold buckles. He’s standing on a round board base with faux white snow. The snow has some light soiling from age. His curled paper hair is gold. He’s missing his top hat. Face, ears, hands and legs are clean. His nose is missing. Tiny bit of age wear but not much. These figures are in very good condition for age. Please see all photos for condition.
