We’ve bought a place in the country, & as excited as we are…. Storage & space are a real problem. We’ve got some hard decisions to make, & have to dismantle our huge general store that we’ve had for 45 plus years. Many of these items have been out of circulations for years. Up for sale is an antiques general store Sunshine Biscuit Display Shelves. It’s in good solid condition with the Lithographs still in amazing shape. Has occasional dings & scratches here & there, but no issues in the important areas. It measures 53″ tall by 29 1/2″ wide. It varies in the shelf size starting with the top shelf being 7 1/2″ deep graduating down to the bottom shelf being 17″ deep. Not only is this Sunshine Biscuit Display hard to find, it swallows up a lot of your cool stuff to show off. I’ve used it in my kitchen for cook books & vintage kitchen collectibles & always attracts interest. Check out the pictures, as I’m counting on them to help with the description. Comes from a smoke free environment. These old general store items are getting harder & harder to find. They’ve been bought up years ago & are now in the homes of collectors. Not only are they unique & a great conversation piece, they offer a lot of storage for your treasures. The glass has a few imperfections but these have been present since the jar was manufactured. Otherwise, it is perfect although it could use a thorough cleaning. The slanted lid pulls down easily and snaps closed via a spring. There is a little tarnishing on the top of the band in the front. The jar is approximately 5 1/2″ wide, 6 1/2″ tall and 16 long. Vintage QUALITY BISCUIT CO Wooden Store Display Cabinet Milwaukee WI c. 1919

MEASUREMENTS: 21.75″ L x 13.5″ H x 4 W. Wood box with one wood shelf. Plated metal frame originally naiked to box (only 1 per side ; 4 total). The top and bottom nail remain, with 2 reinforcement screws added by previous owner. Both nails on ends are missing, replaced with the same type screw, placed in original holes. Plated metal frame of box and doors are badly tarnished but structurally sound. Knobs are wood ; black. 2 moumting strips in back. Doors stay closed but for a 1/3 crack on one door. I would mount cabinet at a slight backward tilt to keep this door closed. Glass panels in both doors. Quality Biscuit Co started in 1919 in a brick commercial vernacular building on 1512 Pierce St, Milwaukee WI. It is a historical building that may have Sunlite Plastics Co using it now.
