It is appealing, desirable, & highly collectible. The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States as its roots date back to 1876. The Company produced millions of knives until it filed for bankruptcy in 2007. We present this piece exactly as it was when acquired. No attempts to clean this item have been made. The front is thermoplastic lexan. It is not removable. Knives are loaded from the rear for display. Additional knives can be stored on the removable shelves. One shelf is missing. It shows wear as seen in the photos. The door is lockable but the key is missing. It measures approximately 18.5″ x 13″. It is 10 front to back at the base.
