Functions as it should! This vintage store display features two animated Scottie dogs in black and white, promoting Fleischmann Scotch Whiskey. The dogs can even bark with sound (optional). Made in Japan, this collectible item is in great shape and perfect for any whiskey lover’s collection. Vintage Black & White Scotch Whiskey Barking Dogs Electronic Store Display

For your consideration is a vintage “Black & White” Scotch Whiskey store display from the 1960s. This display is electronic. When turned on, two dogs rise from the lid, turn their heads, bark, and go back down. I tested this just prior to listing and it works great. The display does show some wear and a few rust spots on the metal housing as you can see in the photographs. That said, the dogs inside the display are very clean. Vintage Armour Meats/Hot Dogs 1950s Advertising Store Display Mechanical Pig

If you remember Armour Hot dogs The Dogs Kids Love To Bite you will love this signed and dated 1950s Store Display Handcrafted Wooden Armour Meats/Hot Dog Mechanical Pig. This one of a kind, mechanical advertising piece, is fully functional with moving arms, moving mouth and moving eyes, which runs off of 120 volts of power off of a wooden cog and strung with metal wire (has been restrung with new metal wire and works beautifully). This was made by a master craftsman/artist, its signed and dated January 1957. Hes made of 100% solid oak wood. He has a hairy chest, not sure of the material. It is an amazing vintage Armour advertising piece. I cant tell you much about the history other than the collector we got it from had it for decades. This is a must have for any advertising collector. This comes out of my personal collection. This piece stands 38 tall x 22 wide. It weighs approximately 40 lbs. Vintage Black & White Scotch Whiskey Electric Store Display featuring 2 Scottie Dogs, a black and a white, who come out of a metal box and bark. The box measures 8″ long X 7″ tall. It comes in working condition, but the dogs do not come all the way up unless you help them. They do bark, move their heads and go back into the box easily. This is an original piece from the 1960’s, not a reproduction. The box itself has some scratches and marks, please refer to photos.
