Vintage Mechanical Ships Wheel Alka Seltzer Dispenser Store Display Advertising Stand. This is a early, WW 2 Era possibly Alka Seltzer Dispenser that would have held a bottle of tablets and a cup to be dispensed into. I really like this find as it will be a great restore piece. It would seem that the two issues with this piece other than age, use, and storage wear are that the cast aluminum horseshoe base has a crack in the inside middle which is`nt completely through or weakening it and there seems to be a spring that holds tension on the dispenser pull that will need to be replaced. I consider them both minor issues and the grinder is in pretty nice damage free condition. Stands 14″ tall, features the 8 1/2″ tin display attachment, weighs 4.9 pounds and has a cast base and body and a chrome neck. It is operational as it is and will grind very well.
