This is the RARE model of this store counter display and it includes the key. Will be adding more photos, but looking for a quick sale. Plastic lid/cover/door has an expected amount of ware/scratches. It has a fully functioning lock, and the key is included. The key opens the top which allows you to pull the back panel upwards releasing the drawer at the bottom. 14″WIDE 16-1/2″ TALL 9 DEEP. Does NOT include any tools. This is a vintage original Gates oak display case for taps and dies. It is in great condition and looks to be all original. There is a crack in the front plexiglass under the yellow size card. Looks as though the store owner placed the size card there to cover crack. The rest of the case is in great condition. Please look at the pictures.

Store Display Case / Cabinet. This display would be a fantastic addition. To someones MAN CAVE or sitting on a counter. For a VINTAGE STORE DISPLAY! Henry L Hanson started his business making tools. In Worchester Massachusets in 1939 and. I could see this cabinet. Sitting atop of a counter displaying the different. Size drill bits one may need! The cabinet is made of wood and dovetail. The interior yellow bit holder is. Made of metal and the outer cover is plastic. In its prime it was a working store display. And because of that I chose not to clean it up! Cleaning it would just take away the handprints. Of history from being used to get the job done! NOTE: To open the drawer, flip up the top bar. With the keyhole, lean forward the plastic cover. Tap & Die – Original Display Case/Box -W/ Cards. Marking on the case – look at the pictures. Used vintage display case for tap & dies – couple of things on the case is not original – previous owner broke the glass and put plexiglass and not original molding – inside the slots to place the handles – rest of it is original – it is made out of oak (hardwood) – hinges and latches are original – also present is couple of cards to indicate the sies and price from the 1930’s – person can restore it – or display has it is. Size of the case 18″ x 12½” x 8¾is height of the back – 4 in the front. Actual weight of the case is 13 lb. PLEASE look at the pictures closely to see the condition of the case. This is a Estate sale find. I Have not cleaned it up.

Very nice old HANSON “High Speed Jobbers Drills” Drill bit counter display for an old General Store or Hardware Store. This is the model that looks a bit like a cash register. It has a fold down plastic cover on top and a pull out drawer on the bottom. Three levels of designated holes for drill bits of various sizes.
