This is an exceptional and rare piece of advertising history: an unused vintage Poll Parrot Shoes store display sign from the 1940s. This unique piece features a honeycomb bottom made of expandable tissue paper. To the best of my knowledge, this display has never been opened or used. I found it wrapped about 40 years ago and have kept it safely stored in its original cello wrapping. Please note: The display appears to have some staining while still in its wrapping. Here is a RARE and older, probably 1930’s or 40’s in condition shown, Poll Parrot Ice Cream advertising. Even with all the imperfection’s, still is a nice lookingdisplay. Sign is made of cardboard or paper board.

VINTAGE POLL PARROT SHOES Advertising Store Sign Plaster Parrot. The parrot is aprox 13 tall. The bird has good color as is seen in the photo. There are some chips in the plaster. Also note that it does have a metal holder can be used to display the parrot. See photo’s as this is the exact item.

Vintage Parrot Store Display sign with Honeycomb bottom. To my knowledge never used, looks stained. I found it wrapped, and I left in in the cello I picked it up in, about 40 years ago. Never displayed it, just tucked it away. I do not know the condition of this item once you unwrap it, as I have never opened it, but I would gently suggest being careful or leaving as I have in the wrapping to display. VERY NICE PIECE OF ORIGINAL ADVERTISING NEON IS BRIGHT GLASS REVERSE PAINTING IS SO SO. PICTURE 6 SHOWS WHERE SOME TIME THE NEON TUBE HAS BEEN REPAIRED. THERE WAS A LOT OF PEELING OF THE MIRROR FINISH SO WE USED A CHROME PAINT WHICH LOOKED GOOD ON BACK BUT CAME OUT NOT AS BRIGHT ON FRONT. IT WILL PEEL OFF EASYLY WITH RAZOR BLADE IF YOU KNOW OF BETTER WAY. THE DARK GREEN HAS BIT OF PEELING BUT WILL BE EASY FIX.
