Vintage GUCCI decorative store display fixture / desk stand with green malachite-style columns, a silver-tone metal structure, and a clear acrylic center panel. Marked “Gucci Italy” on the underside. Important: The acrylic panel is fixed and does not open or accept inserts. This is likely a decorative display/presentation piece intended for countertop/desk/store display use (not a functional photo/document frame). Condition (see photos). Crack in the acrylic panel (see photos). Surface wear and tarnish/oxidation consistent with age. Structurally intact. “Gucci Italy” marking present on the underside of both columns. Materials: Silver-tone metal, green malachite-style columns (appearance only; not represented as real malachite), clear acrylic panel. Up for sale is a very nice scotch tape general store display. This is a very unique advertising display. It is in good condition overall. The bottom does have some rust. It measures 20 1/8″ x 9″ x 9. This listing is for a vintage salesman sample, displaying a pair of buckles in a lovely display. The buckles have a great Georgian Style to them, with an intricate design and a very interesting textured center section. The display case has a high quality finished oak wood base, and a durable custom plexiglass top. The buckles are decoratively mounted with lace, which may also be part of the product. It is marked by a tag on the back, as belonging to Comtex Industries, a local Pittsburgh Pennsylvania company. Comtex has acquired and merged with many companies, this could be a more vintage product than it seems, put in a case fitting for a more modern office and rebranded. It is an excellent collectors item, great for those interested in salesman samples / vendor samples, gifting, display / decor, and much more! It is in excellent vintage condition.
