Made of oak with finger jointed front corners, raised back with lettering. Gold/black stenciled lettering is bright. Partial hairline crack on one side, (see photos) but does not effect stability/structure of the box. Gold/Black stenciled lettering with no damage. Normal wear, partial horizontal hairline crack on one side. See photos for condition. Overall 11″ wide x 9 1/2″ long x 4 1/2 deep. Back is 8 1/2 high. What a unique, rare vintage find! This large CONSO metal thread display box/rack measures about 19x8x11 inches and weighs about 8 lbs. Shows signs of wear consistent with age and use. CONSO began manufacturing millinery trimming for both men’s and ladies’ hats in 1867, right after the civil war.

Antique Peerless General Store 3 drawer display cabinet for sewing thread or other. The top part is the original cabinet that someone added legs to create a side table. Personally, I love the piece as a side table ;o The cabinet without the legs measures 17″ x 16″ x 8.25. The legs measures 14. The insert to the bottom drawer seems to be missing but I’ve never seen one exactly like this one so I can’t confirm that. No other issues, just normal wear to the lettering (see photos) and a few scuffs but no real damage. Please look over photos as they are part of the description.

Overall nice condition American Thread Co. Star Merchandise 4 drawer metal spool thread cabinet. Glass on the front is all intact with no cracks or breaks, the felt in the drawers is all in very nice condition, the metal cabinet shows a bit of wear and some minor rust (please see photos), but for its age, very nice. Unlike the cheap chinese garbage of today, this is a quality piece of American manufacturing. Smoke free environment, measures approximately 16″-14″-8.5. Weighs in just over 15 pounds.
