SPECIAL 1950's Vintage Foremost Ice Cream Neon Soda Fountain Dairy Sign Orig

1940’s – 50’s Foremost Ice Cream Neon – Custom Frame. Three color neon – blue, tangerine and french vanilla, mounted on custom cast iron frame. Please look at the high res overall and detail photos of neon glass, lighted and not lighted. I have owned this sign for twenty five years and and never had any issues with the neon or glass. The transformer is original. It is 9000 watts, is quiet, and was produced by Jefferson Electric, Cat. There is light resin loss when sign is lighted for extended periods. The chain pulls easily in and out but does not turn the neon on/off – this is a simple switch that is available at Home Depot for a few dollars. The frame is cast iron and designed specifically for this neon. It is very heavy and is beautiful in its own right. This sign can be displayed on a flat surface or hung on the wall. Dimensions: 27 1/2″ W x 14 1/2″ H x 6 1/2 Weight is 22 lb. Thanks for taking time to look. Antique Glass Ice Cream Cone Dispenser Holder Vintage Soda Fountain

This is a beautiful vintage piece that is relatively hard to find. The jar is a thick glass with side seams and a metal lid with inside chrome details. No missing interior parts that I could see, everything functions like it should. The metal lid shows some wear and a few tiny dents. The main thing to point out is that there is a decent size chip missing at the very top of the jar along the rim. It seems to have been repaired some time in the past because it is very smooth & not jagged. When the lid is on, it is not visible that I can see. There is also a smudge on the glass right below this area that did not come off with a simple cleaning. I did not want to cause damage to the item with trying to remove it so I left it alone & just showed it in the photos for you to see.
