Vintage 38 Harold Gale Red Velvet Santa Claus Christmas Store Display

This Harold Gale Santa is in good used co ndition. I believe he was used in a store dis play in conjunction with a chimney. His face and upper body are in excellent condition. His velvet suit shows some wear but no holes or tearsin picture 9.. His angel hair beard is nice and white with a little damage which I tried to show in picture 3. He does not stand on his own and must be propped up. His frame work is a heavy cardboard. Authentic corrugated store display Brach’s Candy with Santa large size of 24″ tall and 40″ long it appears to have never been used but shows minimal wear from storage. There is a tear along the top as noted in photos. I put the Coke can to show actual size of tear and the display. There is also some tattering along edges and tape on the backside. Vintage Harold Gale Mechanical 1950’s Santa Christmas Store Window Display. He was a store display in a florist window here in Elkhart. This delightful, Jolly fellow is ready for a new home! His height is approximately 71 inches. He measures approximately 30 inches wide. His suit is red velvet with white fur trim. He has a black patent belt and boots. There is some soiling to his suit as to be expected from being a store display. He has a hand painted face. His mustache and beard look like a real hair! His motor ran but something happened on the way home and now he does not move. I do believe it is fixable. VINTAGE HAROLD GALE 38 SANTA CLAUS! PLEASE READ ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION. For your consideration is this vintage Santa. The man I bought it from told me that it was a “Harold Gale” Santa. If you know where I could look on him for a marking you can contact me. He is about 38 tall. He doesn’t really stand alone, but he can be “propped up” as shown in my pictures. He is in good shape for his age. He has a few slight marks on the velvet, that I did not try to clean up. His beard has a little flaking.
