This is a Super Rare Nike item that no one except perhaps a’select very few’ may have. I couldnt miss seeing the Nike Orange & Swoosh and. Asked the owner where this came from. Her sister had worked in Nike Headquarters for 21 years & Nike offered this’Stand’ to her sister after they were finished using it, her sister then gave it to her. The top has some’very minor’ damage from her watering plants over the years which can be easily corrected by anyone that does finishing type work on aluminum. Nike may have also had several identical stands in their corporate showroom to display their latest greatest shoes on. Nike likely had several’Stands’ made as producing only one or two Stands would have been extremely expensive for Nike to create. It is definitely a custom made aluminum display stand and to my knowledge has never been seen in any’retail’ Nike display! I placed an old pair of my own Nike’s on top for the photo. Imagine what it could have looked like in Nikes own corporate showroomperhaps with several’display stands’ with Nikes latest & greatest shoes on top! The Swoosh without’Nike’ over it started in 1995, this has the Swoosh on both sides at the bottom so this display stand may be from the mid-late 1990s? Orange has also been with Nike since their Chicago Sports Show debut in the early 70s and this stand absolutely sizzles with that ultra sleek’Nike Orange’ interior & mottled, sleek Aluminum exterior. (the Stand size is 34″high x 15″ wide at the center x 13 deep front to back). If youre a serious Nike collector and you don’t have this in your collection, your collection is seriously missing a major prize! There could be a few other Stands, but if there is, where are they, and has anyone ever seen anything like this piece in a retail store? This is an awesome Nike Display Stand that makes its presence known. This is likely not a Nike piece you’ll ever find again! I’m sure you won’t be. Disappointed and you can change your mind and cancel. We live fairly close to U. 15, so if coming from California, it will be relatively easy.
