This is a large (jumbo) tender heart care bear with a RARE store display. The bear has its original tag. The display base is Styrofoam (36 wide). The blue poles are 39 high. Everything is in excellent condition and has always been together as far as we know. We are revising the listing because we just found the rainbow and stars that fit on top of the display. We had packed it away nearly 30 years ago and had forgotten we had them. The rainbow and stars are in good condition. They are cardboard, colored on both sides. There is very minimal damage where the rainbow was folded for packing and other minimal wear/torn areas which do not distract from the display. There is also minimal weakness where the rainbow cardboard fits into the two poles. The rainbow actually fits inside the poles via the rainbow’s cardboard tabs. Photos are included to showing these areas. The large star is currently attached with a couple of red paper clips, but originally/glued attached to the rainbow, hence the minor tear on the rainbow, which does not show when the star is fitted in place. Nearly all of the time we’ve owned this item (30 years) it has been packed and stored dust free. No children have ever played with it. Including the store display it is approximately 4 1/2 feet tall. Therefore, assigning a price to this item is difficult due to its rarity. We can only assume because dealers have been interested in this item, even without the rainbow and stars as was the case in the prior listing, that it must be a very rare store display. The total complete display makes this item even more exceptional. Though the bear and display are light; they are bulky. The rainbow and base are also fragile and we do not want to take any chances on it getting damaged. Due to it’s rarity, I’m sure it will be more than worth the effort to have it picked up at our location.
