It is in really good condition with the typical scratches & spots of rust here & there, but not where it really matters. The metal body is solid & true with no ripples or dents. The lithos on both sides & on the front are still amazing, with very few marks or scratches on them. Check out the pictures thoroughly, & you’ll be able to determine for yourself the shape it’s in. This classic piece is spectacular even from across the room. These display pieces are getting harder & harder to find, because they’re in the homes of the collectors. I wouldn’t be willing to let go of this one, but we’re downsizing. You’ll notice in the picture that shows the inside of it, the original instructions for the shopkeeper is still intact. Hardly able to read the words, but it refers to the life saver drops…. Which I thought was kinda cool. The only issue that I need to point out is the cardboard Lifesavers sign on the narrow band across the top needs re-attaching. It’s been like that since I bought it 30 plus years ago. Does not show amongst the General Store Displays, & it definitely can be secured better… I just never bothered. Measure 9 1/2″ x 11″ x 8 and comes from a smoke free environment.
