Vintage TIMEX Watch Glass Display Retail Case 1950s LOCAL PICKUP BOONTON NJ ONLY

Note that John Cameron Swayze did the early “Timex torture tests” as early as 1958 on television featuring the “V-Conic Movement”, which is a part of the advertising on this display. Also, notice the mention of “As Advertised in: LIFE, The Saturday Evening Post, TIME”. It is currently in the attic so a bit dusty but still looks like it is good condition considering the age, with some wear to the wood on the top. I thought that was a hole in the top possibly for a light but just a piece of dirt. Please refer to the photos. The front glass is thick and removable. It has 2 shelves and is very heavy. This set is at my friend’s home so not in front of me to respond right away but I will within 24 hours. I have done my best to measure this. 23 1/2″ wide x 6 1/2″ top depth x 14 1/2″ bottom depth (gets wider at base), about 20″ high. I do not grade antiques, comics, toys, autographs or such collectibles. I really don’t even know how all that grading works. This is a beautiful vintage Timex watch display case. The motor is the original motor and it is showing signs of being worn out, but does still work, and rotates the inside. I replaced the ballast and the light in the top of the case. There is a yellow filter between the light and the inside that shines yellow light down on the watches. This is a beautiful vintage display case. Would be perfect for a showroom that specializes in jewelry and watches. This would also make a perfect centerpiece for any avid collector of timex watches. The case measures 36 tall 16 wide on all 4 sides. Does include the key for the lock. The power cable has a on and off switch on the cord 6 from the bottom of the case. The case has plexiglass on the sides, it has red felt in the bottom. The display case has a wooden frame around the bottom. The wooden frame is 13.75 wide 1.75 tall. Working Vintage Timex Lighted Rotating Countertop Watch Display Case

This is a very neat vintage Timex display case. This display case has wear as shown in photos and did have to have some minor repairs. There is no key for door and the door has major crack that was glued together but seems to have held well. Some plastic missing from topyou can’t see it where it is missing the plastic behind timex letters on top is very brittle and breaks easily but as far as how it looks, it is not noticeable from outside. The light works on top. And display rotates as it should. All shelves rotate together about a quarter of a circle at one turn per minute intervals. This piece can be used as originally intended or for a really cool display piece for items that you choose. This display cabinet measures approximately: 37″ tall x 17″ in diameter. It can be used with or without the light display and the rotation can be turn off separately with switch on the side bottom of case. If you have any questions, please ask.
