Vintage Youngstown Kitchen Salesmen Kit Circa 1950. During the 1950, a door to door salesman would knock on ones door to sell steel kitchen cabinets. He would carry with him a briefcase. Inside would be an entire kit full of plastic miniature kitchen cabinets that could be assembled to create the kitchen of Mrs. The cabinets were durable enough for homes also used commercially in workshops and schools. This rare miniature plastic collection for the premiere metal cabinets of the era is original and complete. Vintage Youngstown Ohio by Mullins. Overall good used condition. The sales kit was used for in-home presentations. The set includes a design briefcase with templates for walls and floor for designing kitchens in the home. Also included are approximately 90 different design pieces to build the Dream Kitchen of the era. Original Case (shows some wear): 18.5″ long x 13.5″ wide x 4 high.
