VINTAGE MARX JOHNNY WEST BEST OF THE WEST COLLECTION STORE DISPLAY. Display is massive, at approx 4 feet wide and 2 feet tall. The display is damaged in several spots and needs to be restored. It’s currently all original and nothing has been restored yet. It could use reinforcing, tightening of metal straps that hold the pieces to the back board, a custom “best of the west” header card just to give some restoration ideas. Johnny is broken at the crotch and arm. Sam Cobra is broken in half. All of the original parts that broke are included in case you want to try gluing together instead of replacing the figures. As it currently sits it’s a great piece, with a little love and effort it can be an amazing center piece to any Marx collection. I highlighted the damage in the photos the best of my ability. This is a very rare, HTF, vintage store display piece, having 17 characters from the Johnny West Best of the West by Marx Toys. They are all mounted to the base as a store display and have their respective names imprinted on the bottom side part of display base, both on the front and back sides. Due to age and storage, there are some defects, see photos for condition and please note the left hand is missing from Jane West and Johnny West has a broken left leg below the knee in two places, which I will leave for the new owner to repair or replace as desired. I do not know much about these characters, some figures could be missing pieces or have slight cracks due to age and mounting, so please look at pictures carefully to determine if they are complete and are what you are looking for. Very unusual, I have never seen another store display exactly like this, perhaps a rare survivor of time. Located in suburb of Milwaukee, WI 53220. Item by itself weighs approximately 25 pounds and measures approximately 46 1/2″ long, the depth is approximately 11 1/4″ and the approximate overall height (including the base) is 21.
