1930’S CHROME CLOTHING STORE DISPLAY RACK VINTAGE DEPARTMENT STORE ADJUSTABLE. This rack has wear and patina. Comes with scratches, chrome not perfect, rust, scuffs and needs cleaning. Adjust to 6′ foot and has original pin. Base is approximate 21 in diameter, very heavy. Arms approximate 25″ wide and 37″ inches long. It can be adjusted up to 6′ feet. RARE Antique 1920s Women Store Display Mermaid Mannequin. Made of a thick plaster. Has some damage that happened a long time ago where it must of fell and they glued parts of her face. Still has a excellent look and displays beautifully. The top of the back has some damage and some hairline cracking as seen in last few photos. Mannequin is still solid and can be hung. Antique 1894 JR Palmenberg Store Clothing Rack 90 Vintage Display pickup 17032

Palmenberg’s Sons New York – Patent March 27, 1894. I bought this from a local family that had a clothing store many years ago. It is very tall, measures about 90 high with finial. 1 center steel tube. Original finial is nickel plated brass and has wear and a slight bend. Base is solid heavy cast iron with a nickel plated brass cover, nickel is worn. Rack has 4 J. Palmenberg adjustable hangers that measure 18 long from center to end. They are 1/4 thick nickel plated brass. Each hanger has a unique ratchet mechanism for lowering and raising, they can be locked in position at different angles. By pressing a thumb latch it unlocks the teeth and lowers rack arm Mechanisms still work. 1 hanger has a crack but is still very solid, strong and able to be used with no problems(see last photo). The pole can be shortened without a problem. Racks can be moved up, down and sideways. They also can be removed by a hinged center mount and thumb screw. Rack mechanisms have wear, tarnish and a little play in pivot joints. Any questions just ask.
