Shows age, wear, tear, dirt, wearing on Santa face, clothes, hair, boot, dirt. Not sure how to clean this up, staples in outfit are rusted, rubbed off material/paint, and so forth. I did not see holes or tears in any area, but I could have very easily missed something. Face has crazing, missing paint, and the like. From about 1940 – so it will not be perfect. Boot is made of paper mache. No maker’s marks found, but after doing numerous comparisons, it sure appears to be a Harold Gale. Okay, now I plugged in for about 5 minutes. At first I had to flip the switch slowly twice before he would start up. Once on – he kept going. Motion is very jerky. He sort of goes around. Not a full circle. He leans forward more. Due to age I cannot say he will keep working – please keep this in mind when purchasing. Measures about 23″ h x 12″ l x 6 w. We do our best to make you happy. It’s faster and easier for all so the matter can be rectified quickly.
