Vintage Store Display

For your consideration is a wonderful Shabby vintage 1930’s to 1940’s store display mannequin head. I was told she was for years in a storefront in New Orleans. She has such a “movie star” face which appears to have been hand painted. She does have her flaws as shown in my pictures. There are many cracks thru out the head which appears to be some type of composite material, definetley not plaster. At her base is the worst of the cracks, with the main Long crack appearing to have been reglued. She also has her ears “pierced” for earrings. She stands very steady and has a nice long neck for displaying jewelry or scarves. I do not know much about the wedding crown except that it is old, Shabby and just beautiful!
