VINTAGE LEGO STORE DISPLAY, CONVEX LIGHT UP SIGN. This original LEGO display sign is in good, used, working condition. The sign is approximately 13 1/2 inches by 13 1/2 inches square by about 5 inches high. There is wear from use, display, and long term storage, including light to moderate dings & scratches to the sign face. The largest scratch is on the “O” in LEGO, as shown. The sign’s plastic case is a uniform cream color, not sure if this is it’s original color, or if the plastic has discolored a bit over time. The plastic case has no breaks, cracks, or repairs. It’s complete and in working condition, as shown. Probably from the 1980’s-’90’s. Please see pics for overall condition of this vintage light up display sign. UP for sale is a vintage toys r us Geoffrey the Giraffe entrance sign from the late 80s- early 90s iteration of Geoffrey. Item is in good shape considering that it is over 20+ years old. Please keep in mind that item is over 20 years old and it does show signs of use and wear. Signs of wears are but not limited to paint splatter on front and back and also Adhesive that was used to display the item and also minor chips. I personally did not want to take it off because of a few reasons, first it shows character and age and secondly: did not want to use chemicals that could damage the natural petina or color of item. This item was proudly displayed at a location that was directly down the street from the first ever original toys R us location built by Charles Lazarus whom was him self a DC native. This display sign was from a store that closed down in holiday season of 2013. Item measures aproximatley 30 inches from tip of ear down to the base of the neck and approximately 22 inches from tip of one ear to the other. Weighs approximately 2 pounds. Toys R Us with the iconic reverse R. Letters are easy to move/transport. They measure roughly 1 in depth. The large R measures almost 6ft tall and 5ft wide! All letters are made of i believe plexy glass with vinyl front cover. Letters are all in good shape with normal fading/wear from years of hanging on a store. They do have some scuffs/marks are arent perfect but overall in good shape. Could me washed/waxed to clean up/brighten the colors. Came off a local store here in Akron Ohio. Message us for details! RARE VINTAGE Toys R Us Store parking lot Display Sign Geoffrey Return Shopping Basket Cart Please. This sign has been out in the parking lot since they opened the store and it does show signs of wear. I did do a basic cleaning on it but stop because I didn’t want to take out any of the black coloring. A more details cleaning on the white part will get better results. The pictures I took inside the house are darker due to lighting but the sign is very nice. This was the only store that had this sign, all the other stores I went to (5) had the newer blue plastic return cart signs. If item is listed as used; there may be scratches, scuffs, marks, stains or sticker residue on them. Some items may need detailed cleaning. All weights and package sizes are approx.
