Vintage Chicklets Dentyne Beemans Gum Wire Store Countertop Display Rack Basket

This is an original vintage steel wire store countertop display rack advertising four flavors of Chicklets, Two flavors of Dentyne, and Beemans and Clove chewing gum. The display has six tiers of racks to hold boxes of gum. Condition is very good. The original chrome finish is intact but is dull and spotty with surface rust. None of the wires are broken or loose, the entire piece is solid and complete. The metal tags have some wear and fading, especially the top surfaces of the Chicklets tags. However, all are securely attached and readable. The rack measures 20″ L x 21 1/4″ H x 11 D at the bottom.

XLNT Vintage Wrigley's Gum Wire Store Countertop Display Rack Basket Shelf

This is an original vintage steel wire store countertop display rack advertising Wrigley’s gum (Juicy Fruit, Spearmint, and Doublemint). The display has four compartments (a rack on top and three baskets). It is designed to be mounted by the base to a countertop. The original chrome finish is intact but is dull, spotty, and a little dirty in areas. None of the wires are broken or loose but a couple are bent. The sign on top shows very little wear and the colors are still bold with little fading. The baskets hook into the stand and are held tight with set screws, but one screw is missing. However, nothing is loose and the entire piece is sturdy, solid, and fully functional. The rack measures 19″ L x 20″ H x 8 1/2 D, not including the mounting bracket. This sign has been out in the parking lot since they opened the store and it does show signs of wear. I did do a basic cleaning on it but stop because I didn’t want to take out any of the black coloring. A more details cleaning on the white part will get better results. The pictures I took inside the house are darker due to lighting but the sign is very nice. This was the only store that had this sign, all the other stores I went to (5) had the newer blue plastic return cart signs.
