This is a thick card stock not metal or porcelain sign. Probably for cigar or tobacco, pharmacy or drug store or general merchandise store. Probably 1950-60s or so I’m guessing. Great store display sign.
Abercrombie & Fitch Vintage 1960s Sports Badminton Wood Wooden Large Crate Box. Cool, unique storage/carry case. On one corner, a piece of wood has broken off but doesn’t affect the sliding of the top to open the box. Super fun blast from the past. Tongue and groove craftsmanship on corners.

Very Rare Mechanical Store Display with 3 Different Cardboard Signs. The 3-dimensional die cut logo at the top appears to move side to side when functional. The 3 cardboard signs can be switched out on the front of the display. The 2 signs that are not attached appear to have never been used, but they all have significant wear from age and storage. This was just recently found in a building that had a shoe store in the early to mid-20th Century, where it has been since it was used in the store in the 1930s-40s. There is overall wear, especially at the corners and edges. The die-cut sign at the top has some wear when you look closely, but it’s surprisingly intact considering the materials. The cord is old and no longer safe, so this would need to be rewired, at least, before it can work or be tested. The motor and housing need a good cleaning, and the cardboard signs could use some TLC. There are some scuffs and stains and spots of loss. The color shows some minor fading from sunlight exposure. Measures about 23″ tall x 14-1/2″ wide total. The signs are 18-1/4″ tall x 14-1/2″ wide.
This rare vintage Ednalite Picture Store Lighted Flashing Counter Display is a remarkable piece of retail history, likely dating back to the late 1950s or early 1960s. Made in the USA by Wrigley Displays, this display would have been a centerpiece in photo supply stores, designed to showcase and sell Ednalite bulbs with an eye-catching flashing light feature. Authentic & Rare: Original display marked “This is a Flasher Display” with a Haft and Sons Inc. Sticker and Wrigley Displays sticker on the top drawer. New Old Stock Condition: Cord is still factory-wrapped, and the display appears to be unused. Fully Functional: Flashes approximately every 5 seconds when plugged in, and the light switch glows when pressed. Convenient Storage: Features two drawers that were originally used to hold bulbs for sale. Measurements: 15.5″ W x 18″ H x 9.5 D. Weight: 13 lbs. Although it appears to be NOS (New Old Stock), there are minor signs of age, including light scratches and some water staining on the particle board bottom. Please refer to photos for overall condition. Has the original Ednalite bulbs. This display is a must-have for collectors of vintage photography equipment, advertising, or store displays. It’s a striking piece of mid-century retail design and would make a great addition to any collection. Don’t miss out on this unique and rare collectible!
