Vintage 1978 Metal Dr Pepper Curved Sign > Antique DP Signs Cola Beverage 9144. Up for your consideration is a vintage metal Dr Pepper sign. The sign has a pressed in curve that bows out. The color is superb. This is a unique find. The sign is 30″ wide and 11 1/2″ tall. Drink Dr Pepper, G 78. This sign is in very good condition without any dents. It appears to be NOS. This fine piece was used to store sparkplugs in your local automotive garage or parts store. The doors open in the front along with the top, see pictures. There is a reference sticker on the side that has a date of 1974, see pictures. You just don’t find these every day! This would be a grand addition to your man cave or garage! It measures 16″ tall, 24″ wide and 8 deep. Dependable Champion Spark Plugs. Fair to good condition with moderate to severe scratches, surface rust and areas of staining and discoloration. Awesome Mido self winding watch advertising robot. NOT a old 1930’s vintage item. Large & heavy 17 inch high x 7 inch wide. Weighs 3 1/2 lbs without any packing. Made of solid resin on thick steel stand with working 3 1/4 inch clock. Back easily opens to install 1 battery (not included). The head rotates and the two arms move forward and backward. All other parts of robot are in fixed position. Mido comes from the Spanish phrase: Yo mido meaning “I measure” Mido in the 1930’s used a robot as its ambassador as a symbol of progress. There is minor loss of silver surface color at the pivot pegs for upper arm joints, otherwise this robot is in near mint condition with working clock. No pet smells or cigarette smells.
