Up for consideration is a awesome vintage Santa Claus display believed to be circa 1950s. Santa may have been part of a Coca Cola display, not real certain. Plywood construction w/ a paper covering. Santa is in pretty good used condition considering his age. Paper is worn away in spots along the edges. Wood has a few minor chips. There are a couple of small mounting holes drilled in the wood as seen in the close ups. The wood grain & imperfections are showing through the paper. General wear & tare. FABULOUS VICTORIAN VELVET POCKET WATCH STORE DISPLAY STAND HOLDER, MINT. I have something really special and rare here a jewelry store display for a pocket watch from the Victorian era, in plushy blue velvet, easel style. Imagine your prized timepiece shown off to brilliant effect with this lovely display case! It opens with a latch, and inside is shirred silk and blue ribbons to bring attention to a prized pocket watch. This silk lining inside is perfect condition — no tears or shredding as you might expect to find — perfect! Just a tiny bit of soiling from time. Even the ribbons on either door are intact and’fresh’. The original hook is inside for hanging the pocket watch. The velvet is clean (no stains or dark areas) and in great condition on all sides, just a few areas along the edge show some velvet wear (as can be seen in my photos). Otherwise this piece is in remarkable almost-new condition for something truly over 110 years old. And what a pretty shade of blue! It is so hard to find store display pieces, especially something from the Victorian era!! Where will you ever find another? I hate to part with this treasure, but you benefit because I decided to let it go. Stands 5 inches tall and is about 3.5 inches wide when closed. When open it is about 6 inches wide. Very nice glass display cabinet for Parker pens. Appears to be from the 1950’s/1960’s. A heavy piece with all glass intact. Has a flat bottom shelf and an upper display shaped for holding pens. Has sliding doors in the back for easy access. Pen holders are seated on a wooden shelf and can be removed if desired. Has a bottom drawer accessible from the back for storage. There is some wear around the bottom black area, and some minor wear to the wood but overall the case looks great. Probably made of birch. Has a slot for a light, but needs a new cord and plug. Minor scratches on the top of the glass. Please see the photos for more detail. Great for any Parker Pen collector/enthusiast! Measures 30″W x 24″D x 38H. This particular figure was manufactured by the now closed, Creegan Animation Company. These pieces are some of the original mechanical displays from years and years ago, that were stored in the Creegan Animation Factory. They are no longer being manufactured. Once they are gone, they are gone… Many of which are now in the hands of private collectors. This particular piece measures appx 26 tall, when plugged in she rocks side to side on her one leg. She is heavy (This is not your small telco/gemmy like animation) These were built for use in commercial applications, built with heavy duty gear motors and are built to run hours on end.
