There is not a light bulb so we are unable to test. There is wear from years of use/storage including some discoloring, paint splatter, dust, and a small fracture by one of the rear brackets as shown. Flashback to the 50s when our grandparents grew up with the classic Christmas when Department stores used to help bring Christmas to life!! It doesnt take much to appreciate this Santa Claus esp now days since Target and Walmart came around and pretty much ruined the Christmas feeling we used to get just from walking by a store front. This is a one of a kind RARE Harold Gale 6 FOOT Mechanical Santa Claus from Leonards Department Store in Fort Worth, Texas in the 50s/60s. He is in beautiful condition esp for his age. Moves up and down when he is plugged in. Also comes with Stocking Santa Bag as seen in pics. Dont think the bag is original as it says House of Lloyd on it but it matches perfectly and may have been added by the department store. Harold Gale is known for their Excellent Quality Santas. They used only the finest materials to build their Santas and used Brevel Gears which only need oiled once in awhile for maintenance. Each Santas face was hand painted so no two are exactly alike! He measures about 6 tall and is on a wood Brick platform to make it easier for transport. Total with platform measures 76 which is about 64! Official Original Nintendo 64 store display sign. No cracks or broken parts. The white on the sign has yellowed slightly due to being so old. Some of the letters have a little color worn off. This huge vintage store display Sheaffer White Dot Fountain Pen was found with a vintage Waterman ink display…. (see my other items for that). The pen is an amazing art piece by itself. It measures about 60″ long and about 6″ wide. On the nib it reads. Sheaffer’s 1920 18K 750. STE (a diamond) PE. There are some light scratches, but it has been carefully preserved over the years and would make a fantastic display for the advanced fountain pen collector. Will be double boxed and fully insured.
