We offer for your consideration a Wallace Berrie’s 1983 Super Smurf Collector’s Center with 66 figurines from the 1980s, including several assorted accessories. This showcase was gently displayed. This show case is one of two from this elder gentleman’s private collection. We already listed our other show case. —The other case may have pieces that belong with some of the pieces in this set. It was hard for me to tell which pieces belonged together, so I left it as I found it. You will note that this show case no longer spins on the rod which connected the round disc with the hole to the show case. This set does have the original rod; however, it is missing the screw on the bottom of the bolt. — Please note, all of the plexiglass panels are intact with no noticeable major blemishes, scratches, or obvious marks. The one panel shows a minorly noticeable scratch from the top of the bottom. All of the remaining plexiglass appears clean. The showcase could use a gentle cleaning. –The interior is clean, but the outside has a thick layer of dust inside the ridges. Several of the bottom interior shelves still have a washable residue of sticky gel, which ks still on a few of the figures. —Please see photos for the minor wear on the case. You will easily note the inch long damage to the bottom tray, which holds the whole case. It is visible, but all of the other five surfaces are free of damage. This was stored inside in a clean bedroom and free of smoke or pets. It is remarkably clean and well preserved for the age. —The graphics and printed words are bright and bold. The original one owner collected many toys from the 1980s and was beyond the age of playing with them. The characters have varying degrees of wear and age to them. It appears he bought some of them new and some of them used. Or, perhaps he bought them new and some of them show more apparent age. —The figures are Peyo Scleich and more. —The show case measures 7-1/2 width across one of the six panels. 21 from top to the bottom not including the pedestal.
