Wonderful Elgin Watch Display in excellent condition. The model turns with arm extended towards the Elgin watch that is on display. She moves back and forth presenting the watch to eager onlookers. This display most likely sat in a store window. From the 40s or 50s. Plugs in a standard electrical outlet. Approximately 17 1/2 inches inches tall and 15 inches wide. The base of the display has a built in swivel. The color of the display is predominately Tiffany Blue. No scratches and no missing paint. The condition is exceptional with minor vintage use wear scratches & age wear. The litho colors are still vibrant. To find a complete display case with the original packets is very rare. Offered here, one of two known complete examples of a 1946 Pflueger Fishing Tackle Company. Super great colors and subject matter. Only one other example is known to my knowledge. This was originally a large easel back counter top sign, but the easel is missing from this one. You can see there is a small piece missing from the extreme lower left-hand corner, but it does not detract from the fantastic subject matter of the sign. This sign is completely original with no restoration. This sign is approximately 26″ tall by 19″ wide. Ultra Rare Early 1900's Fishing Tackle Fish-Shaped Diecut Advertising Sign
Extremely rare and early Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett and Company of Chicago diecut fish-shaped advertising sign. This original and unrestored sign is heavy enamel paint over an early masonite material. I have never seen another example of this sign, nor has any other long time collector that I have shown it to. While difficult to date, I believe this sign is from before the mid teens (Pre-1915’ish). Around the mid-teens, Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett and Company used the trade name “OVB” denoting, “Our Very Best” line of merchandise when referring to their fishing tackle, and otheritems such as pocket knives, etc. With no sign of the OVB logo on this sign, I can only deduce it pre-dates that period. This sign is 24 inches long with minimal condition issues. You will likely never seen another one.
