Vintage Store Display

The only markings are a raised PATHE done in cursive and a printed word Disc. These marks are on the top of the base and there is a small white paper tag on the bottom side with “DISPLAY COMPANY, NEW YORK”. The bird very close to being full sized at approx 23″ tall, 17″ breast to tail, 7″ wide, and the base is 10 1/2″ in diameter. I do not know if the paint or color is original and there is some slight damage. There is a 1 1/2″ by 3/4″ chip on the base, it appears that there is a small chip on the upper beak that has been painted over and a small chip at the very top of the tail. Also a few places whrer rhe red has chipped of but these are minor. I think that is about the extent of my knowledge about this rooster or the Pathe Co.
