Up for sale is an original vintage ABC Pops advertising display sign, featuring bright mid-century graphics and the playful slogan Spelling is Fun with Alphabets. ” These signs were used in small-town candy stores and soda fountains to promote ABC Pops – “The purest candy for children made with Vitamin C. Type: Original lithographed cardboard store display. Era: Late 1940s to early 1950s. 14″ tall × 16″ wide (see pictures). Condition: Displays well with bright colors and solid gloss for age. Shows light edge wear, surface scuffs, and minor creasing. There is residual thick cardboard adhered to portions of the back (see photos) where it was originally mounted. No touch-ups or repairs. Material: Litho on thick cardboard (not a reproduction). This is a wonderful survivor with bold period graphics-oversized red “POPS” lettering, alphabet blocks, and lollipops-perfect for framing or display in a vintage candy, soda fountain, or general store collection.
