The rack is black painted wood with excellent Concert Master labels, its overall very nice original condition. There are 11 glass tubes for the strings, one is missing and one is broken on the end but still holds in place in the rack. One of the tubes has its original Concert Master label, the others do not. Some of the tubes have black plastic screw caps, some have metal caps. None of the tubes contain any strings. The wood rack is great condition, very well made, displays excellent, measures 30 wide. This is an unusual advertising piece, these don’t come up for sale very often. I included 12 photos that show everything. This is a vintage metal lazy susan style rotating string display for Gretsch strings, probably from the 1960s. The compartments are sized for Gretsch round plastic string cases. It is a great vintage piece for a Gretsch guitar enthusiast or music memorabilia collector. There is some bending at the top of one of the rows (the red piece) but it is not visible when the lid is on. Other than that there is minor wear consistent with age and use.
