ANTIQUE STORE DISPLAY CASE NATURAL TIP SHOE LACES 1920s VINTAGE SHOES COOL

“NATURAL TIP SHOE LACES” Store Display Case made by the Hutmacher Braiding Company from Patterson NJ. I estimate this is from the 1920s. Dubbed the “Silent Salesman” this unusual store display case was intended to store, display and increase the sales of “Natural Tip Shoe Laces”. This is a great Advertising piece. It could be cleaned up and restored and/or be used to display other items. I collect Old Marbles and envisioned using it to display them. Condition: The case has Surface rust, Peeling paint, Scratches, broken hinge on rear access door, Dents, the electrical cord has been cut and the light bulb removed. While this old case has some condition issues, it is structurally sound, very sturdy, the glass is all intact, many of the original graphics are present. It is still very functional and would be a terrific restoration project. I have never had or seen another one of these to compare it to so I do not know if all of the original parts and pieces are attached. Vintage 1950s Christmas Tree store display, BIG! General store, RARE! SANTA COOL

1940s-1950s Not even sure how many of these survived or existed! Stands just over 62 in tall and about 31 diameter. Folds flat, 7 pieces. Obviously has wear, not perfect but still very very cool! The tree “shelves” can have light weighted on them. Not exactly which store this came from or what it was used to display. There are areas on the underside of the largest branch shelf (lower) that does have clear tape to help hold it together. Again, this is not perfect by any means. There are tears in parts of the cardboard. For as old as it is, i would say not to bad of shape. We used this as a display in our shop. Always used and stored indoors. Very cool tester the also lights up bulb inside and a ball goes up to tell you your air cleaner is working. Runs nice and see light in picture. Very clean see picture from the late 60’s my aunt said.
