German all bisque doll store display box with 10 examples. Box measures 8″ x 10″ and dolls 3. All have mohair wigs, painted eyes, jointed heads, arms and legs. Various hair styles and dresses all nicely decorated with ribbon. Painted 1-strap shoes in either pink or blue to coordinate with dresses. Two wigs mussed, one lightly mussed. Some age discoloration on two dresses. The authenticity of store display boxes like these attributed to Hertwig has been controversial. Vintage 1960s Penny Brite Store Display Carousel with Seven Dolls for Topper Toys by Deluxe Reading Corp. A rare, hard to find display set. The carousel is 18 in diameter and 14 tall. It has seven 8 dolls dressed as the original Penny Brite in red dress, in Anchors Aweigh sailor outfit, in Sun and Fun outfit, in Winter Princess outfit, in Flower Girl outfit, in Singing in the Rain outfit but umbrella is missing, and in Chit Chat outfit. Each Doll is in its own individual compartment with different backgrounds. The dolls and clothing are in fairly good condition, but need to be cleaned. The carousel itself is in fair condition. The top is not complete (see photo) and it is missing the plastic that once wrapped around the doll compartments. It has dings and wear. It does rotate when set on a level surface and plugged in. Box is larger than looks on pictures. Height is 14.5″ and width is 18.5″. Box was stored in basement so has tarnish and smell. Has dirt on the inside box. Didnt want to take it a part to damage any dolls. Dolls look in very good condition. There are 7 dolls in total. The box spins, but super slow and stops at one point. Very hard to find Mattel store display (missing outer cover) with mod Twist N Turn dolls still attached, No Bangs Francie doll, Black Francie doll and Hair Fair set. (missing outer frame box). This lot is for any serious Barbie c ollector who wants to add a piece of Mattel history to their collection! These store displays are getting increasingly hard to find. All reasonable offers will be considered. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO REQUEST ADDITIONAL PHOTOS. Dolls attached to display are in near mint condition but will need cleaning as they are dusty. The blonde TNT has teensy dots on face that I believe may be where dust came through her veil and settled on face. I did not want to remove the dolls to try and clean them so will leave to new owner. Their hair is in original sets with original ribbons and bands still attached. I noticed a bit of light discoloration around ankles from wires but one spot I rubbed with my finger wiped off so some areas may be able to be cleaned. The “Scene Stealers” outfit that Stacey is wearing is the only one that appears faded. The blonde No Bangs Francie doll is in very nice condition with nice face paint and blush with full rooted eyelashes. Her hair is shiny and very full with signature “tuft” of hair underneath at crown of head. She still has lots of curly waves in back. Her body is near mint and legs snap loud and hold a tight bent position. She is wearing her original tagged dress and orange panties. S hoes are missing and headband was missing so orange ribbon was used for display. Her face has darkened slightly as shown and her head was turned to one side during storage so will need a bit of straightening. Her dress has some light gray spots/stains? On bottom and sides that I did not attempt to clean. Black Francie is in beautiful condition with full rooted eyelashes. Her hair is lovely but has a couple shorter pieces so may have had a slight trim? Her body is near mint with legs snapping loud and holding a tight bent position. She wears a rare medium blue variation of “Pleat Neat” with the original very hard to find soft yellow JAPAN heels. The complexion of the dark hair TNT dolls look like they may have darkened slightly but may just need a good cleaning. The dolls on display are wearing complete Barbie original outfits as follows: “Extravaganza #1844″; “Wedding Wonder #1849″; “Jump Into Lace #1823″ & “Scene Stealers #1845″. The Hair Fair set is in good display condition with a couple dents in plastic cover. The outer cardboard frame is missing. The cardboard Mattel store display shows wear and has some breaks and creases in the arches of windows that need repair. There is foxing on platform and it will need a detailed cleaning as I can see dust around the edges and inside. The platform has a dip and partition tabs have pulled loose so will need to be reinserted and secured. The very edges of top corners have holes and top left corner has a small piece torn off. The bottom has a section pulling loose that will need to be glued that you can only see if you turn over the display. It is still a beautiful display and with a bit of care will be an amazing rare addition to any vintage Barbie collection! All items are from a pet and smoke free home. RARE 1960s, 70s Vintage Good Luck Troll Dolls Store Display Scandia Spiral Eyes

I have been collecting trolls for decades and have never come across anything like this troll store display. It has changed hands a couple of times in recent months and is now with me because I didn’t want it to be parted out, as it is such a rare find. There are no markings on this display other than what you see at the top of the card. Each troll has its original mohair, and they all look like Scandia House trolls due to the spiral eyes. Each troll is in its own plastic baggie held closed with a staple. One troll was removed due to an insect making its way inside the baggie. The display came to me with the trolls that you see pictured. The peach haired troll in the lower left hand corner had what appeared to be a tiny dried up nest? If you would like to see a photo, just ask. I was able to slide the troll out of the baggie and easily comb the substance from decades ago out of the hair; I didn’t see any damage. I inspected all of the other trolls to the best of my ability without removing them from their baggies. We know what moths can do to mohair, but there is no evidence of any damage. I tugged on the mohair through the baggies, and each pelt appears to be in one piece and attached inside the skull as it should be. There is nothing alive in this store display! There are no bad odors like cigarette smoke, mildew or moth balls. All of the trolls look great with the exception of the following. The red-haired troll has a pinkish looking face which at first I thought was just the hair on the face, but it looks like some dye may have bled onto the face. The blue haired trolls usually have dye transfer, but the 2 in this set don’t have much, just a little at the neckline. The yellow haired troll has a yellowish tinge that runs into the chest. Several of the trolls have the black tipping on the ends of the hair which is typical of Scandia House Enterprises. I see a few random dots on a couple of the trolls, not a big deal. I know it’s hard to see through plastic, but please take a look at the magnified photos, as they are an important part of the description. Claus Dolls, these were used in a Store Display. These are Harold Gale Santa’s. So Cute they are around 37 tall and there bodies are made. Of cardboard and faces are Plastic. The Detail on there Faces are Beautiful. Santa has a little. Dimple in his nose. Claus has a little hole in her dress behind the bow. Both are in Wonderful. Santa stands up with no issues, Mr. His cardboard came loose somehow. He would have to be mounted on a Doll stand to keep him. I did add the pictures to the write up so you can see.
