FABULOUS VICTORIAN VELVET POCKET WATCH STORE DISPLAY STAND HOLDER, MINT. I have something really special and rare here a jewelry store display for a pocket watch from the Victorian era, in plushy blue velvet, easel style. Imagine your prized timepiece shown off to brilliant effect with this lovely display case! It opens with a latch, and inside is shirred silk and blue ribbons to bring attention to a prized pocket watch. This silk lining inside is perfect condition — no tears or shredding as you might expect to find — perfect! Just a tiny bit of soiling from time. Even the ribbons on either door are intact and’fresh’. The original hook is inside for hanging the pocket watch. The velvet is clean (no stains or dark areas) and in great condition on all sides, just a few areas along the edge show some velvet wear (as can be seen in my photos). Otherwise this piece is in remarkable almost-new condition for something truly over 110 years old. And what a pretty shade of blue! It is so hard to find store display pieces, especially something from the Victorian era!! Where will you ever find another? I hate to part with this treasure, but you benefit because I decided to let it go. Stands 5 inches tall and is about 3.5 inches wide when closed. When open it is about 6 inches wide.
