Offered is an original early 1900s wooden countertop display cabinet used by a Singer sewing machine dealer or mercantile store to organize and display sewing machine needles, shuttles, attachments, or other small parts. One of the best features is the original paper advertising still attached to both the exterior and interior fold-down door. The exterior advertisement features Sterchi Bros. 100-102-104 Gay Street, Knoxville, Tennessee, promoting sewing machines, furniture, crockery, mirrors, and household merchandise. The interior retains an original Singer Sewing Machine advertising sheet illustrating several High-Arm Singer sewing machine models. The cabinet retains its original wood finish, original hinges, and original wire dividers. It folds closed for storage and opens into multiple divided compartments for organizing merchandise.
