I always try my best to do as much research about each item that I list so that I can give as much information as possible, but there is always the reality that I might miss something. VINTAGE 1940s PLASTER FEMALE MANNEQUIN HEAD MOLDED HAIR FH102 ART DECO STORE DISPLAY. You will receive exactly what you see pictured. The mannequin head display stands approximately 14 tall and appears to me to be in absolute excellent condition. It has molded hair, there are a few spots where the hair is has chipped off, but nothing like others I have seen. The face of the mannequin also appears to be in excellent condition, her eyeshadow color and lip color is in excellent condition and still very bright. The back is marked FH-102 and as you can see on the bottom there is a cutout/hole where this mannequin head would have sat on a display in a store, be it in a window display or on a countertop where it would have been used to display hats and/or jewelry. I did not presume at the time that it was old, but now after 20 years, I can probably call it vintage! In all these years, I have actually never seen another one quite like it. It’s cute and kitsch for any romantic, cottage, vintage decors. The hat is removeable so you can take it off to display a real hat too. It measures about 17″ tall x 11″ wide at base. Has minor normal wire patina, no noted damages. Most of the items that I sell are vintage, used and loved- they are RARELY going to be perfect. You may consider something a problem that I have not even considered as a defect. It measures just over 13″ tall x 9″ wide. I’m not sure what it is made of. Maybe some type of molded resin? It has the look of very detailed carved wood. It seems to be lighter in my photos than the actual color. It is in very good condition, but could use some cleaning due to dust settled in.
