THIS IS A VERY RARE STORE DISPLAY CHALK OR PLASTER LADY HEAD MANNEQUIN. THE MANNEQUIN IS CLEAN DOES HAVE CHALK OR PLASTER LOSS. I HAVE PICTURES TO SHOW YOU THIS. SHE HAS DUSTY BLUE EYES WITH BLUE EYE SHADOW. HER HAIR IS REDISH BROWN. SEE THE PICTURES FOR THE WAVES AND CURLS. THERE IS A HOLE IN THE BOTTOM WITH REINFORCEMENT INSIDE. THIS HOLE WOULD ALLOW THE MANNEQUIN TO BE ON A STAND. NUMBER 253 IS ON THE BASE BACK SIDE. IT IS ENGRAVED IN THE PLASTER OR CHALK. SIZE 15” TALL BASE SHE SITS ON IS 7” WIDE 4-1/2” DEEP. Signed vintage 1940s hand made and hand painted female plaster display head form… Fashioned of heavy plaster, this hand made female head form is delicately hand painted showcasing softened facial features and detailing, and is finished off with the artist initials “WS” along the back. Measures overall 7″ wide, 8″ deep, 14 tall, and finished all around. In overall very good condition with age-expected discoloration, mild soilage, dustiness, superficial scratches, mild dinks, and some craquelure which may be appreciated in the photos. SUCH AN AWESOME BLONDE, SHE APPEARS TO BE FROM THE 1940’S, PERHAPS THE 30’S. SHE IS 14-1/2 HIGH AND HAS A HOLE IN THE BASE. SHE HAS DREAMY EYES AND A STYLISH FOR THE TIME HAIRDO, LOVELY FACE, SHE HAS SOME MINOR CHIPS HERE AND THERE AND A LARGER ONE OUT OF THE BACK SIDE BY THE BASE, SEE PHOTOS. THE TIP OF HER NOSE HAS SOME REPAIR ON THE UNDERSIDE THAT I JUST NOTICED NOW, A BIT DARKER THAT THE REST SO YOU MAY WANT A DIFFERENT SHADE, IF YOU CARE. THE BACK OF HER NECK IS NUMBERED 168. We’re having to downsize, no room to store our collections. It measures 15″ x 13 1/2″ x 4. It’s in overall good condition, with no dents or major issues. Some cloudiness in spots, but I didn’t give it a major cleaning either. The graphics are amazing & completely intact. Hardly a scratch where it matters! These display items are getting harder & harder to find because they’ve been snatched up & are in the homes of the collectors. Check out the pictures, I’m counting on them to help in the description. Comes from a smoke free environment. International will be calculated accordingly. Remember: There is NO RESERVE! I just now noticed that the description on this particular display item is wrong. Where I had stated that it had some “bends /ripples on top panel” is referring to a completely different display piece. This one has NO bends, ripples or issues of any kind.
