We believe this was a counter top store display. It’s not something we are very familiar with although were have had many similar engine magnetos in the past. It is both hand cranked and can be belt driven. The cranking mechanism has a gear reduction which is shielded in a separate housing. Heavy metal base keeps it anchored down. This would be perfect for an engine show display or to use as a test bed. Approximate dimensions are 8″ by 7″ by 8 including the base.

Red Wing Shoes MinkOil Vintage 1960s-1970s Countertop Product Sales Display Box. Measures 13-1/4″ wide by 8-3/4″ deep and 4-5/8 tall. Colors are still vibrant, but the outside white has browned, the perforation on the pop-out has been opened, there are two tack or pin holes on the left above the mink, some stains and one split edge, as well as stains on the interior. Look at all pictures as they are part of the description and show details of the condition.
