This is a rare 1920s store display for EVEREADY Mazda Automobile Lamps. Measures 23″ X 18″ X 12 and is metal over a wood frame with a weight of around twenty pounds. Looking at it head on, the upper left has two round holes that light bulb sockets would have gone in with wires leading to batteries. The purpose was to test light bulbs (the wiring diagram is inside of top lid). Staying with the top lids, the smaller lid to the right, when lifted to its open position, reveals a place most likely for brochures of light bulb applications on automobiles available at the time. The first drawer, closest to the top, when opened, has holes cut out of different sizes, for a variety of loose bulbs to be arranged by part numbers, bulb side up. The next three drawers are for the storage of light bulbs in their respective boxes. They don’t come up for sale very often.
