Up for sale is an incredibly rare, authentic vintage late 1960s / early 1970s psychedelic pop art die-cut store display board. Standing an impressive 60 inches (5 feet) tall and approximately 40 inches wide, this massive life-sized piece features three beautifully stylized mod women clad in vibrant period attire, geometric sunglasses, and sweeping Art Nouveau-style hair. It is hand-signed “Stabney” in the lower right corner. This is a rigid, thick cardboard die-cut advertising or boutique display piece rather than a paper poster. Its incredible size and bold colors make it a commanding statement piece for mid-century modern homes, retro clothing boutiques, or vintage art collections. This item is an authentic vintage survivor and shows honest age-appropriate wear from commercial or residential use. Surface: There are visible scuffs, light surface scratches, and minor rub marks across the face consistent with age. Edges: There is noticeable wear along the die-cut perimeter, including areas where sections of the outer cardboard edges have chipped off. Bottom Right Corner: There is structural creasing and paper loss near the bottom right edge right next to the signature. Color: Despite the vintage wear, the purple, pink, green, and yellow inks remain exceptionally bright, bold, and unfaded. Bottom Edge & Structure: Due to the historic water contact noted on the reverse, there is a slight structural warp/cupping along the bottom edge. The sign still stands and displays beautifully, but the bottom line does not sit completely flush/flat. Please review all high-resolution photos carefully to assess the cosmetic condition.
